Host Shop Requirements

Here are the requirements that must be met in order to hire APAC ATI graduates:

  • Up to date Employee Handbook (2020 or later) that conforms to current state and federal labor laws
  • Benefits package that includes:
    • Medical insurance
    • Dental
    • Vision
    • Life
  • Paid holidays and vacations
  • Paid ongoing education program
  • Commission pay plans that meet with state requirements
  • Competitive commissions
  • Clear path to advancement
  • Maintain a code of ethics
  • Must perform digital vehicle inspections (DVI)
  • All shop equipment must be in safe working order
  • Must have up to date scan tools- OEM or equivalent is preferred
  • Must have NASTF VSP credentials

Graduates may complete a four week internship pre-hire to ensure a proper fit for the technician and the shop.

Graduates will be required to sign a conditional 12-month contract of employment.
