The Program

About Our Program

Our 10-month automotive technician program held at Star Motors in San Juan Capistrano, California is an innovative combination of classroom lectures and hands-on shop learning. We’ve streamlined the training process for an exciting and effective nationwide training model that works well for all learning styles.

Best of all, our new, redesigned state-of-the-art training facility allows us to easily switch back and forth between technical lessons and an in-shop experience where students have access to leading industry tools and equipment.

How The Program Works

Our teaching method is an immersion-style program unique to our industry. Similar to a foreign language cultural immersion, we are able to quickly and efficiently acclimate technicians to the language of automotive repair.

This ensures industry acumen and confidence so that students are ready to enter the workforce. Students may transition into full-time employment with the company they intern with or become hired by a different firm.

If you’re looking for an exciting future as an automotive  productive technician with the gold standard in training within a modern repair shop environment, now is your chance! Our comprehensive training provides you with a quick, direct route to becoming a highly skilled, working technician. Contact us today to sign up! (949) 391-2570.

Leadership & Culture

Partnering To Provide Employment

We partner with qualified automotive repair shops to accept our graduates as employees. Shops that participate donate a placement fee that contributes to our non-profit organization’s mission to help as many students as possible and thus helps to perpetuate the program.

Every partner shop must pass a high standard screening. Our partner shops have strong leadership and culture, tool and equipment minimums, operating systems, ongoing education programs, employee benefits, and paths toward advancement for the student. To ensure placement stability, we may also require shops to submit financial information.

Placed students may have a 12-month contract with the shop that can only be nullified if there are unsafe business practices or serious ethical issues. Employers may terminate employment – without penalty – for any reason.
